Reliv Perfumes — Privacy Policy

Reliv Perfumes — Effective October 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Reliv Perfumes, LLC ("Reliv Perfumes," "we," "us") collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit relivperfumes.com, purchase from us, or receive our emails.

1. Who we are

Reliv Perfumes, LLC
490 Post St, Ste 500 #1040
San Francisco, CA 94102
support@relivperfumes.com

We are the business responsible for the personal information described here. Our website is hosted and our online store is operated on the Squarespace platform.

2. Personal information we collect

  • Identifiers — name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number. Why we have it: to process and deliver your order.

  • Commercial information — products viewed, cart contents, order history, returns and claims. Why we have it: to fulfill orders and maintain records.

  • Payment information — payment method type, last four digits, billing postcode, authorization result. Why we have it: to take payment. Full card numbers are handled by our payment processor and never stored by us.

  • Internet activity — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, time on page, clicks. Why we have it: to operate and secure the site, and to measure how it performs.

  • Communications — emails and messages you send us, adverse reaction reports, review and photo submissions. Why we have it: to answer you and to keep the safety records cosmetics law requires.

  • Marketing preferences — subscription status, opens and clicks on our emails. Why we have it: to send you what you asked for and stop when you ask us to.

  • Inferences — product interests drawn from what you browse and buy. Why we have it: to show you relevant products and offers.

We do not collect sensitive personal information as California law defines it, and we do not ask for your government ID, precise geolocation, or biometric data.

3. Where the information comes from

  • Directly from you — when you place an order, create an account, join our mailing list, contact us, submit a review, or report a reaction.

  • Automatically — through cookies and similar technologies on the site, described in Section 7.

  • From our service providers — our e-commerce platform, payment processor, fulfillment provider, and shipping carriers return order, transaction, fulfillment, and delivery information to us.

  • From advertising and social platforms — where you interact with our ads or our social media pages, those platforms may report aggregate or pseudonymous information about that activity.

4. How we use personal information

We use personal information to:

  • Process, fulfill, and deliver your orders, and handle returns, damage claims, and refunds

  • Communicate with you about orders, shipping, and customer service enquiries

  • Send marketing emails where you have subscribed, and measure whether they are opened and clicked

  • Maintain adverse reaction records, as the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act requires

  • Operate, secure, and improve the site, and detect fraud, chargeback abuse, and unauthorized resale

  • Measure how our site and advertising perform, and show you relevant products and offers

  • Comply with our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations, and enforce our Terms & Conditions

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not sell it for money.

5. Who we disclose personal information to

We disclose personal information to service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract, limited to what each needs:

  • Squarespace — receives site and store hosting, order and account data, email campaign lists, site usage data, for platform, commerce, email delivery, and site analytics.

  • Payment processors — receive payment and billing details, transaction records, for taking payment and fraud screening.

  • Fulfillment providers — receive name, shipping address, phone, email, order contents, for storing inventory, packing, and dispatching your order.

  • Shipping carriers — receive name, shipping address, phone, email, parcel details, for delivering your order.

  • Analytics providers — receive site usage and device information, for measuring site performance.

  • Advertising and social platforms — receive site activity, and in some cases a hashed email address, for advertising and measuring it.

  • Professional advisers — receive only what is necessary, for legal, accounting, and insurance advice.

We may also disclose personal information where required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect our rights, property, or safety or those of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you.

6. Advertising, and what "sharing" means here

We use, or may use from time to time, analytics and advertising technologies provided by third parties, such as search, social media, and advertising platforms, as well as analytics built into our e-commerce platform. When these are active, information about your activity on our site — pages viewed, products added to cart, purchases made, and identifiers such as cookie IDs, device identifiers, and IP address — may be transmitted to those providers so that we can advertise to you and measure how our advertising performs. We may add or change providers over time; you can ask us for a current list of the providers we use at any time by emailing support@relivperfumes.com.

The providers we use, or plan to use, include Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel (which also supports advertising on Instagram). These and any similar providers we add in future may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to collect information from our site and elsewhere on the internet, and may use that information to provide measurement services and to target ads. You can read how Google uses this information at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can read how Meta uses it in Meta's Privacy Policy, and adjust your ad preferences in your Meta account settings.

Under California law this counts as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though no money changes hands and we do not consider it a sale. You have the right to opt out of it at any time, at no cost and without any effect on the price or quality of what you receive from us.

To opt out, use any of the following:

  • The "Your Privacy Choices" link in our site footer

  • The cookie banner, where you can decline advertising and analytics cookies

  • A browser-level opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, which we honor automatically — see Section 8

We do not knowingly share the personal information of anyone under 16.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small file stored on your device. We use four kinds:

  • Strictly necessary — keeps you signed in, remembers your cart, processes checkout, protects against fraud. These cannot be refused, because the site cannot work without them.

  • Functional — remembers preferences such as your region or dismissed notices. You can refuse these.

  • Analytics — counts visits and shows us how pages perform, including through analytics built into our e-commerce platform. You can refuse these.

  • Advertising — measures our ads and lets us show you relevant products on other sites. You can refuse these.

You can manage these through our cookie banner, through the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our footer, or in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop checkout from working.

We also use pixels and similar tags embedded in our pages and, in some cases, in our emails, which tell us whether a message was opened or a link clicked.

8. Global Privacy Control and opt-out preference signals

If your browser or a browser extension sends an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, we treat it as a valid request to stop sharing your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, for that browser and device.

Because the signal travels with the browser rather than with you, it applies only to the browser sending it. If you want the opt-out to apply to your account across devices, email us at support@relivperfumes.com and we will apply it to your account records as well.

You can install Global Privacy Control free at globalprivacycontrol.org.

9. Marketing emails

We send marketing emails only to people who have subscribed. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect promptly.

Transactional messages — order confirmations, shipping notices, damage claim correspondence, and safety notices — are not marketing, and you will continue to receive them for as long as you have an active order or account.

We do not sell or rent our mailing list.

10. Your California privacy rights

California residents have the following rights. We honor them regardless of whether we meet the revenue and volume thresholds that make the California Consumer Privacy Act mandatory for a business of our size.

  • Know and access — what personal information we hold about you, where it came from, why we have it, and who we disclosed it to

  • Delete — ask us to delete personal information we collected from you

  • Correct — ask us to fix information that is inaccurate

  • Opt out of sharing — stop the advertising disclosures described in Section 6

  • Limit use of sensitive information — we do not collect it, so there is nothing to limit

  • No retaliation — we will not charge you a different price, give you a lesser product, or refuse to serve you because you exercised a right

How to exercise them. Email support@relivperfumes.com with the words "Privacy Request" in the subject line and tell us which right you want to use. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days, extending once by a further 45 days where necessary and telling you if we do.

We will need to verify your identity before acting, usually by matching the email address and order details on file. An authorized agent may act for you with written permission, which we may ask to verify directly with you.

Some information we must keep — transaction records for tax purposes and adverse reaction records under cosmetics law — and we will tell you when an exception applies to part of your request.

11. How long we keep information

  • Order and transaction records — 7 years, for tax and accounting purposes

  • Account information — while your account is active, then 24 months

  • Adverse reaction reports — 6 years, as cosmetics recordkeeping requires

  • Marketing subscription records — until you unsubscribe, then a suppression record so we do not re-add you

  • Website analytics — up to 26 months

  • Customer service correspondence — 3 years

12. How we protect information

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable vendors, and we limit who can reach personal information to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as California law requires.

13. Children

Our site and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, or share the information of anyone under 16 for advertising. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email support@relivperfumes.com and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed, and material changes will be announced on the site. Please review it periodically.
