  • When I set out to create the Japan Collection, my vision was to capture the profound stillness, beauty, and reverence I felt while exploring Japan. Rather than creating standalone scents, I wanted to craft an immersive olfactory trilogy—three distinct sanctuaries translated into three emotional rituals: Contemplate, Meditate, and Celebrate.

    • Green Ether (Contemplate): Designed to capture the quiet, reflective stillness of walking through the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, balancing crisp, watery greenness with airy forest woods.

    • Incense & Stone (Meditate): Created to evoke the sacred atmosphere of ancient mountain temples, blending cool mint-kissed green tea with velvety moss, hinoki wood, and soft trails of smoked woods.

    • Sakura Drift (Celebrate): Formulated as a bold, unforgettable interpretation of spring in bloom, harmonizing decadent cherry and almond notes with tender florals and warm, velvety woods.

    To bring this collection to life, I formulated each Eau de Parfum with bespoke accords and rich native woods, ensuring every spray delivers a complex, multi-layered journey on the skin.

    I enjoyed designing every facet of this collection, and I am truly excited to share this piece of Japan with you. I hope it brings depth, tranquility, and joy to your daily fragrance rituals.

  • I wanted the collection box to feel like opening a portal to Japan—a tactile, multi-sensory experience from the moment it touches your hands to the reveal inside.

    Every detail of the packaging was thoughtfully designed to unite all three fragrances into one cohesive story:

    • The Luxury Exterior: Wrapped in a rich, dark linen-textured finish, the box is hot-stamped in radiant gold foil featuring Japanese typography—日本を追体験する ("To re-experience Japan")—offering a serene invitation to the journey within.

    • The Unboxing Reveal: Lifting the magnetic lid reveals a striking forest green inner canvas featuring a majestic pagoda silhouette enveloped by drifting cherry blossom petals, visually weaving the themes of bamboo, temple stone, and sakura into a single artwork.

    • The Presentation: The three Eau de Parfum sprays lie cradled side-by-side in a custom-fitted dark tray, creating a beautiful display of their distinct individual label designs.

    I poured immense care into crafting this unboxing experience, and I hope it brings a sense of wonder every time you open it.
