Green Ether

When I designed this Eau de Parfum, I set out to recreate the majestic experience of walking through the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove in Kyoto. It is a complex, multi-layered composition crafted to capture the serene atmosphere and emotions of being surrounded by towering green stalks.

• Fresh & Green: A crisp, watery greenness reminiscent of freshly cut bamboo stalks and lush foliage.

• Earthy & Woody: A grounding base of wet earth and dry woods that gives the scent its natural forest floor depth.

• Aquatic & Clean: An ozonic quality that evokes the lingering mist in the cool morning air.

• Subtle & Serene: Minimalist and tranquil—a zen-like fragrance designed to soothe and refresh.

To achieve this profile, I formulated and carefully blended distinct Bamboo, Aquatic, Earthy, Soft Woods, and Mossy accords into a seamless, harmonious journey.

I wanted every element of the packaging to evoke the same emotion as the fragrance inside. I dedicated just as much intention, craft and precision to the visual tactile design as I did to formulating the scent itself.

• The Label: Showcases artistic bamboo stalk illustrations surrounded by gold foil detailing, bringing Kyoto’s iconic forest directly to your senses.
