Sakura Drift

When I designed this Eau de Parfum, I wanted to step away from traditional, whisper-soft florals for cherry blossom (sakura) and create a bold, unforgettable interpretation of spring in Japan. I achieved this by using a carefully constructed fantasy accord that pairs an intense, gourmand top note with sheer musk and creamy vanilla creating powdery warmth, for a powerful, multi-faceted profile.

• Bold Cherry & Almond: An opulent initial burst of sweet cherry blossom and warm, nutty almond.

• Bright & Dewy: A sparkling splash of crisp spring air and morning dew that brightens the initial opening.

• Lush Florals & Tender Greens: A blooming floral heart brings soft texture, depth, and sophistication, while delicate whispers of young leaves and freshly snapped stems add a realistic, botanical freshness.

• Velvety & Soft: A luxurious foundation of sheer musk and creamy vanilla create powdery warmth that lingers like a gentle spring breeze.

To capture this fleeting beauty, I harmonized Sakura Blossom, Spring Air, Sheer Musk, and Dewy Green accords, creating a fragrance that feels bright, uplifting, and daring. I am thrilled to share this celebration of spring with you, and I hope it brings a sense of light, joy, and beauty to your skin.

I wanted every element of the packaging to evoke the same sense of luminous celebration as the fragrance. I dedicated just as much intention, craft and precision to the visual tactile design as I did to formulating the scent itself. The goal was to visually capture the poetic concept of "petals falling, gone before you blink."

Each component is purposefully curated to capture the ephemeral beauty of Sakura Drift:

• The Outer Sleeve: A clean, elegant white base acts as the perfect canvas for shimmering, delicate rose-gold foil accents. I integrated rose-gold line art of drifting sakura petals and subtle wind patterns, creating a beautiful sense of movement.

• The Label: Extends the rose-gold line art on a soft pink background, creating a beautiful sense of movement, celebrating the scent’s very creation.

• The Box: Set against the deep, tactile dark linen texture of the box, the gold details truly pop, creating a modern, luxurious unboxing experience.

Every detail was designed with care, and I hope unboxing it fills you with the joyous spirit of a spring bloom.
